Attachments

You can attach a file or URL while you're speaking, after your message has posted, or at the conversation level.

While you're recording​

  1. Tap the recorder and start speaking.
  2. Scroll up on the recording page until you see the Attachments section.
  3. Tap the "+" to add an attachment.

If you're attaching a URL, copy it to your clipboard first and it should populate automatically. You can also type one in by hand.

You can attach while still speaking, or tap pause, attach, and tap the mic to carry on.

To a message you've already sent​

  1. Swipe from right to left on the message to open Message Info.
  2. Scroll down to the Attachments section.
  3. Tap the "+" to add an attachment.

To a whole conversation​

  • When creating a new conversation, the creation flow will offer to attach something.
  • For an existing conversation, go to Conversation Settings and tap Media, Links and Docs.

On the web​

The web app supports attachments too. You can attach and send images, video and files such as a PDF, and download anything someone else attached.
